2018 Emmy nominees: See all the shows and stars up for awards this year

Nominees for the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards, airing live on Sept. 17 (NBC, 8 EDT/5 PDT) with hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che were announced Thursday morning.

“We’re proud to be the first duo hosting the Emmys since Jenna Elfman and David Hyde Pierce, and somehow that’s a real fact,” the “Weekend Update” anchors from “Saturday Night Live” said in a statement when they were selected in April. (It happened, in 1999).

Samira Wiley, star of Hulu’s reigning drama series candidate “The Handmaid’s Tale” and Ryan Eggold (who will headline NBC’s upcoming “New Amsterdam”) announce this year’s nominees at 11:30 a.m. EDT/8:30 PDT.

The Emmy ceremony will take place on a Monday this year because of the network’s Sunday Night Football commitment.
