Duchess Meghan will be in the Royal Box to watch her good friend Serena Williams in the women’s final Saturday.
Kensington Palace announced the Duchess of Sussex and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, will be in attendance to watch Williams play for her eighth Wimbledon singles title against Angelique Kerber.
Kate is the Wimbledon patron and has been in attendance at the tournament in previous years.
Williams is playing for a record 24th Grand Slam singles title, which would tie Margaret Court’s mark of titles won.
Court’s victories spanned the amateur and Open era years. Williams’ 23 singles trophies at the majors is an Open era record.
