Karl Malone was asked for his thoughts on those who say the Warriors are too stacked, especially since they’ve now added DeMarcus Cousins. The Hall of Famer’s response was basically just, “Go beat them.”
Malone also explained what happens to haters and talked about why he enjoys watching the Warriors play. He said on KNBR’s Gary and Larry Podcast :
“Well, I see it like this: People are entitled to do what the heck they want to do. Haters gonna hate – we got a sayin’ around my house – then you gonna meet somebody, and ya’ll gonna have little babies, the rest of that. They gonna be hater babies. Keep it going. So people hate on the Warriors. How you stop all of that is go beat ’em. Go beat ’em. Go beat the Warriors or whatever. That’s just the way the game is right now.
“Like I said, my thing is they seem like they really like each other and like playing with each other. But I think the big dilemma with the Warriors organization is coming down the pike here pretty soon – are they gonna be able to keep all of them? Keep that team together for a while. It’s kinda neat watching them because they’re really being creative making sure that they can sign other players and stay like they are. But if you want to stop talking about them, go beat them. Other than that, let them do what they want to do.”

While we’re talking about Warriors haters, Steph Curry also had something to say about that to USA TODAY Sports‘ Sam Amick. When Curry was asked about how the dominance of his team has changed the NBA, the star guard said:
“So everybody says how we’re ruining the NBA – I love that phrasing; it’s the dumbest phrase ever. We are always trying to find a way to get better. If we were just happy with winning a championship and staying stagnant, we wouldn’t be doing ourselves justice.”
