Kyle Busch didn’t mince words Friday when asked about Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s aggressive style at the Coke Zero 400 last weekend at Daytona International Speedway.
Busch, atop the points standings and winner of five races this season, said Stenhouse didn’t reach out after contact between the two knocked Busch out of the Coke Zero Sugar 400, which disappointed him.
“If you wipe out half the field, I’m pretty sure it’d be a pretty busy Monday for him,” Busch said in reference to whether Stenhouse should’ve called his fellow competitors. “But, it wasn’t. So, apparently, he just doesn’t care.”
As to whether those actions in Daytona will have carryover this week, Busch made it clear where he stood.
“I can’t worry about people that far back in the field,” Busch said.
